Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on social media today that all Teslas will be equipped with karaoke for free. This means that owners will be able to sing in their Tesla.
In recent years, Musk has repeatedly mentioned the car’s karaoke function, and Tesla has previously been developing its own music streaming service. As previously reported by IT House, Tesla officially launched the TeslaMic wireless microphone on February 28 this year in Tmall’s official Tesla flagship store for the first time, priced at 1,199 yuan (a set of two). Previously, the microphone has been on Tesla’s online store, but it has been in short supply.
In addition, the Tesla Tiger OTA (version 2022.2.1) brings entertainment upgrades exclusive to mainland China, including in-car KTV functionality. After owners connect to TeslaMic, users can sing through QQ Music and NetEase Cloud Music while driving.
