Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted a photo of himself with the Optimus Prime humanoid robot. Tesla 2022 AI Day was held in Palo Alto, California, and Elon Musk attended, saying he would bring progress on the Optimus Prime humanoid robot, Tesla FSD and Dojo supercomputer.
At the meeting, Elon Musk presented a prototype of the Optimus Prime humanoid robot and showed a version of the Optimus Prime robot ready for production.
Elon Musk said the goal is to create a useful humanoid robot as soon as possible. Elon Musk expects to produce millions of “Optimus” humanoid robots at a price much cheaper than cars, expected to be less than $20,000 per unit.
After the introduction, Elon Musk took a photo of himself with Optimus Prime on Weibo.
