Elon Musk clarified: Twitter will fully comply with U.S. government regulatory requirements

Twitter boss Elon Musk told employees that he intends to fully comply with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requirements of the company. The departure of three Twitter executives in charge of privacy, information security and compliance before that has raised doubts about whether Elon Musk will abide by Twitter’s previous settlement with the FTC.

Spiro added that the FTC’s first compliance check on Twitter is “coming soon” and “we’ll deal with it.” Earlier on Thursday, following the departure of three of Twitter’s top executives, an FTC spokesman said the agency was “closely monitoring developments at Twitter,” saying “no CEO or business is above the law, and businesses must abide by it.” Our consent order”.
