EIZO China today announced the launch of the Raptor SQ2826, a lightweight 28.1-inch master display with 2Kx2K (2048×2048) resolution for air traffic control (ATC). It is an upgraded model of the Raptor SQ2825 monitor.
EIZO Raptor SQ2826 claims to be the world’s first lightweight 2Kx2K ATC smart master monitor, weighing 9.2kg, compliant with 100x100mm VESA mounting standards, without adapters or additional stands.
Raptor SQ2826 is EIZO’s 6th generation ATC main control monitor. The bezel of the monitor is reduced to 15.5mm, and the bottom bezel can be optional with or without OSD buttons.
Raptor SQ2826 is also known as the industry’s first master monitor with a built-in image acquisition function on the surface. Using the monitor’s video signal loop-out function, all displayed image content, including the monitor’s OSD menu operations, can be streamed to the second monitor through DVI. Two 2Kx2K compatible monitors.
The Raptor SQ2826 can also output signals via EIZO’s Re/Vue encoding and streaming devices and SafeGuard data capture and content management solutions for remote live viewing or recording to a server, enabling a fully integrated ATC vision system.
In addition, Raptor SQ2826 supports last frame display, which can automatically display the last frame image before any signal interruption, accompanied by status prompt information to inform ATCO of the current status.
The monitor also integrates EIZO’s SwitchLink internal switch management technology, eliminating the need for an external KVM switch and connecting up to six workstations.
In terms of display, the Raptor SQ2826 is equipped with a direct-lit backlight system with brightness stabilization, a lightweight industrial-grade aluminum body, a built-in power supply design, and an optional glass protective panel covering the LCD panel to support 24/7 all-weather operation.
The display is equipped with a variety of signal interfaces, which are located on the side of the display for easy connection and wiring. The attached interface diagram is as follows:
