Eizo China announced the 23.8-inch FlexScan EV2480 – an ultra-narrow bezel Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS monitor with a USB Type-C port for increased efficiency and comfort in the office or at home.
The FlexScan EV2480 is equipped with a USB Type-C port that allows users to display video, play audio, transmit USB signals, and power connected devices. This convenient and versatile connection makes it faster and easier for users to connect their laptops when moving between workstations or working outside the office. It also comes with HDMI and DisplayPort inputs for even greater user convenience.
Interface options on modern laptops are often limited, which is intended to improve their portability. EV2480 Type-C ports allow users to easily connect peripheral devices such as external keyboards, mice, webcams, or storage devices by accessing four USB Type-A ports. In addition, the USB Type-C port delivers up to 70W of power, making it easy to power small PCs and laptops without the need for an additional power supply unit.
The monitor is equipped with a versatile stand with a wide range of adjustments, featuring height adjustment, tilt and swivel. Users can also rotate the screen to portrait mode for more comfortable reading of web pages and long text documents.
Printing work-related documents have become increasingly rare due to the increase in work-at-home, telecommuting and stricter security measures. To make reading digital documents more comfortable, paper mode reduces the amount of blue light emitted by the monitor, helping to prevent eye strain. When used in conjunction with the monitor’s Auto EcoView dimming feature it can reduce the amount of blue light by up to 80%.
The EV2480’s ultra-narrow bezel design achieves a minimalist aesthetic. In addition to the classic black color, the body is available in white to keep the workspace bright. In addition, Eizo offers cables to match the body for total color coordination.
