Eizo launched the ColorEdge CS2400S, a 24.1-inch color management monitor, the first of a new generation of CS series monitors. It is an updated version of the ColorEdge CS2420 with USB Type-C connectivity and eco-friendly packaging.
Designed to meet the diverse needs and budgets of creative enthusiasts who enjoy photography, video, illustration and design, the Eizo ColorEdge CS2400S features 1920 x 1200 resolution, 99% Adobe RGB color gamut coverage, 1350:1 contrast ratio, 410 nits brightness, 10bit color depth compatibility, full factory color calibration, and VESA 100 x 100 wall mount.
Every ColorEdge CS2400S includes a factory report in the box that shows the monitor’s measurements at the time of production. The report includes uniformity, gamma, gamut coverage and color temperature measurements to verify the accuracy of each monitor.
The Eizo ColorEdge CS2400S is newly equipped with a USB Type-C port for connecting a laptop via a single cable. USB Type-C connectivity allows displaying video, transmitting USB signals and powering a connected device such as a tablet or laptop.
In addition, the monitor’s USB Type-C port supports 70W power for connected devices such as tablets or laptops. It also offers 4 USB-A ports on the side, as well as DisplayPort and HDMI ports. In addition, the new power consumption has been reduced from 26W to 18W.
In terms of appearance, the Eizo ColorEdge CS2400S features a smooth, rounded body and a non-intrusive stand with a carry handle on the back to make it easy to move it to other locations.
The monitor’s multifunctional stand can be adjusted for height, tilt and rotation. In addition, the stand is equipped with a quick-release button to separate the screen from the stand with a single click.
The Eizo ColorEdge CS2400S will be available for sale in China in May 2023 at a market price of RMB 8,399. The monitor was previously released overseas for an MSRP of 108,900 yen (currently about RMB 5,674).
