Twitter announced that Twitter Blue subscribers in the U.S. region now have access to the Edit Tweets feature that has been in beta testing for the past month. Earlier this week, Twitter made an edit button available to Twitter Blue subscribers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with the promise of feature expansion in the U.S., and this came sooner than expected.
The “Edit Tweets” button, which can be found next to Blue’s already available options to delete tweets, pin to profile, change who to reply to, and add/remove from list, is a long-awaited feature.
Any tweet can be edited within 30 minutes of being sent, and modified tweets will be marked with an “edited” label.
Twitter Blue, which costs $2.99 per month in the U.S., offers access to ad-free content, various customization options, bookmarking folders, an option to undo tweets, early access to Twitter’s new features, and more.
