Edifier launches a new TWS earbud which retails at 178 yuan

The Edifier audio line-up welcomes a new TWS earphone to the brand. This new headphone will succeed the lollipop TWS from 2019. There are several notable upgrades with this new audio device in comparison with the previous model. Let’s find out what new features this TWS earbud comes with.

The first notable change in specifications of this headphone is its switch to the latest Bluetooth 5.3 chipset. It also uses a paper composite diaphragm to produce more accurate and responsive vibrations. This might not be the smallest or most stylish earbuds in the market due to its 13mm large size, but it promises great audio quality.

An additional upgrade with this TWS earbud is its effective distance, they can maintain connection within a 10m radius. That means that users can move away from the connection device and the TWS won’t disconnect. One downgrade with this audio device is its switch from Qualcomm aptx decoding as on the 2019 model to SBC decoding.

One factor that is taken into consideration when shopping for an earbud is the battery life. The new earbud from Edifier can last for 7 hours on a single charge. A user can as well stretch that time to 21 hours with the charging case.

Edifier 2022 TWS earbud price and availability

The retail price of this Edifier lollipop TWS earbud is 178 yuan (~$27). It is currently on sale on Edifier’s official online stores in selected regions. Its affordability, as well as considerably good features, are some of its strongest selling points.
