Doogee launches V Max phone with a 22000mAh capacity battery

China phone manufacturer Doogee, which focuses on overseas markets, has recently launched a rugged phone called V Max.

Official information shows that Doogee V Max can be used continuously for 6-10 days under normal use, with 100 hours of talk time or 64 days of standby time. A phone with such a large battery is bound to be bulky, and the Doogee V Max is 27.3mm thick.

Doogee V Max is equipped with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ 120Hz IPS screen, with Gorilla Glass protection and a water drop design of 32 million selfie cameras (Sony IMX616, 90° FOV).

Its back offers a leather-like feel, and its design is largely inspired by Vertu phones of yesteryear. There are three cameras on the back of the fuselage, including a 108-megapixel main camera (Samsung S5KHM2SP03), 20-megapixel (Sony IMX350) and 16-megapixel (with 130° FOV and autofocus, allowing you to take macro photos). The three cameras are equipped with two flashes on the left and two infrared night vision lights on the right.

The Doogee V Max is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, paired with 12GB RAM (expandable up to 19GB actually) and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, expandable via TF card. The smartphone is equipped with the Android 12 system from the factory, but it is not clear how many versions will be updated to support it.

Other highlights of the Doogee V Max include NFC (with support for Google Pay), a side-facing fingerprint reader, and 5G connectivity. Additionally, the V Max will feature a customizable button on its left side and is IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD-810H certified. It also complies with the High-Resolution Audio standard defined by the Japan Audio Association.
