Data from Dongfeng Motor shows that in 2022, Dongfeng’s independent passenger car sales of 685,000 units, an increase of 32%.
In terms of new energy vehicles, in 2022, Dongfeng sold 471,000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 156.8% year-on-year. Among them, 424,000 new energy passenger cars were sold, up 157.2% year-on-year; 47,000 new energy commercial vehicles were sold, up 153.4% year-on-year.
Dongfeng Motor said that the future will further accelerate the iterative innovation of new energy core technology, and will achieve 100% electrification of the main passenger car brand in 2024.
In terms of exports, in 2022, Dongfeng will export 240,000 vehicles overall, up 58% year-on-year, a record high. In the future, Dongfeng will introduce seven new energy products to the Nordic market, covering the luxury, high-end and mainstream electric vehicle markets, and plans to cooperate in building 34 marketing and service outlets by 2025 to achieve full coverage of the Nordic market.
