Dongfeng Motor recently announced that its new model eπ 007 will be officially launched on March 14. The car has announced the price and launched production on February 14. It is available in 4 models, 1.5L extended range and pure electric dual versions. The official plan is to deliver it this month.

The car is positioned as a “Zhiya electric coupe” and is built based on Dongfeng’s quantum architecture. It is a medium-to-large sedan in size. In terms of appearance, the new car overall presents a wide-body and low-lying coupe stance with simple and smooth lines. It is equipped with a new LOGO on the front and uses frameless doors.
The car also supports the optional “scissor doors”. This configuration was once more common in supercars or performance cars. With the advent of new energy vehicles such as Xpeng P7, Neta S, and Neta GT, it has gradually become “civilian”. The car is equipped with a scissor door that supports multiple opening methods such as in-car voice, smart key, and smart touch, and is equipped with dual ultrasonic radars for active obstacle avoidance.
In terms of color matching, the new car offers two basic car paints, Night Shadow Black and Dawn White, as well as five car paint options: Creek Lime, Orchid Purple, Spruce Green, Sunny Gold, and Creek Lime (matte).
In terms of other configurations, the car has a built-in reversible full LCD instrument panel, a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a 15.6-inch multimedia display, and supports high-speed NOA pilot assisted driving, over-the-horizon memory parking and other functions.
The length, width and height of eπ 007 are 4880/1895/1460 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2915 mm. It is equipped with Dongfeng Mach E power system. The pure electric model provides a four-wheel drive dual-motor version with a maximum power of 400 kilowatts; the extended-range model is rear-mounted. The motor has a maximum power of 160kW, a peak torque of 310N·m, and a CLTC pure electric range of 200km/combined range of 1,200km.
