On the evening of April 1, the 2024 Dongfeng Citroen Versailles C5 22 upgrades added. Versailles C5 X is positioned as a mid-size car, but it combines the common advantages of cars, SUVs, and station wagons, and is a crossover model.
In terms of appearance, the entire series of Versailles C5 X has added the Eclipse blue color that is in sync with Europe. The front face adopts the classic double-stripe grille of the Citroën family and extends to the split headlights on both sides. The rear of the vehicle is similar to the design of a station wagon, with a larger trunk. At the same time, two beautiful spoilers add to the sporty feel, and the beautiful taillights are very recognizable. The rear bumper shows crossover elements.
For the interior, the car will use light-colored leather fabrics and be equipped with new moon gray style leather seats. The seat headrests and surroundings are made of gray Alcantara material, and have red Hypnos special edition labels. In the central control part, the car is decorated with inlaid wooden materials and also has metal trim strips.
In terms of configuration, it includes Dongfeng Citroen’s latest upgraded C-Connect 3.0 intelligent network connection system, adaptive cruise, 360-degree panoramic imaging, front radar, induction electric tailgate, front seat heating/ventilation, 10-speaker sound system, rollable Retractable trunk partition, trunk floor guide rails, trunk stainless steel door sill trim, trunk power supply and other configurations.
In terms of power, it is expected that the new car will be equipped with a 1.6T+8AT power combination. For reference, the current model is equipped with a 1.6T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which can output a maximum power of 129kW and a maximum torque of 250N·m.
