DJI released the Zenmuse L2 airborne high-precision lidar, which integrates frame-type lidar, high-precision self-developed inertial navigation and a 4/3 CMOS visible light mapping camera. The basic version package is RMB 95,999. The flagship version package is RMB 103,999. With the DJI industry flight platform and DJI Maps, Zenmuse L2 can be used in surveying and mapping, electric power, forestry, engineering infrastructure and other working scenarios.
- Worry-free basic package: 2 low-cost replacement services. You only need to pay the corresponding replacement fee to replace the damaged product with an intact product.
- Worry-free flagship package: Enjoy a protection limit equal to the value of the main body of the device, and enjoy unlimited free maintenance services within the limit.
The L2 can accurately scan small targets and quickly obtain accurate point cloud data.
- High precision: Integrating GNSS and high-precision self-developed inertial navigation, the altitude accuracy can reach 4 cm and the plane accuracy can reach 5 cm.
- High efficiency: It works immediately after powering on, and can quickly acquire 2.5 square kilometers of point cloud data in a single flight.
- Easy to use: L2, Matrice 350 RTK, and DJI Maps form an integrated solution that is simple and easy to use, further lowering the operating threshold.
The L2 measuring range is up to 250 meters (reflectivity 10%, 100 klx), 450 meters (reflectivity 50%, 0 klx), and the typical operating altitude is up to 150 meters. The light spot size is 4 × 12 cm (100 meters), which is only 1/5 of L1. It can not only identify smaller targets and obtain more detailed models but also penetrate denser vegetation and generate more accurate digital elevations. Information supports up to 5 echoes.
In both single-echo and multi-echo modes, the maximum point cloud emissivity of L2 can reach 240,000 points/second, allowing more point cloud data to be acquired per unit of time. L2 supports two scanning modes. In the repeated scanning mode, the lidar can perform more uniform and higher-precision scanning to meet the requirements of high-precision surveying and mapping. In the non-repetitive scanning mode, the penetration is stronger and more structural information can be obtained, which is suitable for power inspection, forestry survey and other operation scenarios.
The surveying and mapping camera uses 4/3 CMOS, the pixel size is increased to 3.3 μm, the effective pixels reach 20 million, the minimum photo interval is reduced to 0.7 seconds, and the shutter life is up to 200,000 times.
