According to DJI official news, the Osmo Action 4 camera’s latest firmware is now released, with new pre-recorded and highlight moments functions.

Attached DJI Osmo Action 4 new features are as follows:
New pre-recording
Osmo Action 4 can turn on the pre-recording function in advance so that when you press the shutter at the moment of excitement, the camera will have already retained the footage for a pre-set period of time. You can capture up to 60 seconds before the start of recording, so you can get a more complete picture of what’s going on, especially in fishing scenes.
New Highlight Moment
During camera recording, you can press the Quick Switch button on the camera body or GPS remote control to add “highlights” to the video, and the DJI Mimo App’s editing interface can quickly locate tagged footage, reducing the time spent searching for footage and speeding up post-production editing.
DJI released its sports camera Osmo Action 4 in August this year, which features a 1/1.3-inch sensor, support for 4K / 120fps recording, and a price tag starting at RMB 2,598.
