DJI Osmo Action 4 specification exposure: support 4K 120P slow motion shooting

DJI announced that it will hold a new product launch conference on July 25. The poster shows that “dual cameras are in place, and the protagonist is in place.” It is expected to launch the DJI Air 3 drone.

@camerainsider has now released the news of OSMO Action 4, and it is expected that this new product will also be unveiled at the press conference next week.

 Sensor: 1/1.3 inch CMOS

 4K60P 155° FOV

 4K120P slow motion

 10bit&D-Log M

 360° horizon stabilization

 Water resistance: 18 meters

 Weight: 145 grams

Referring to previous reports, DJI released a new generation of sports camera Osmo Action 3 in September last year, with a starting price of 2,299 CNY.

DJI Osmo Action 3 supports up to 4K / 120fps image specifications. It has a convenient camera quick release system to help users easily and quickly fix the camera position and switch the lens. With the help of the horizontal and vertical shooting protection frame, it can quickly realize the vertical shooting mode.

Officials say that Osmo Action 3 is capable of super standby regardless of low temperature or humid environment, and the bare metal can dive to 16 meters underwater.

In terms of parameters, Osmo Action 3 is equipped with a 1/1.7-inch CMOS, which can shoot 4K / 120fp and 12-megapixel photos, and supports D-Cinelike color mode, time-lapse photography and digital zoom. In addition, Osmo Action 3 has been upgraded to multi-mode stabilization technology on the basis of the previous generation. Super Steady 3.0 (RockSteady 3.0) adopts DJI’s latest generation of intelligent anti-shake algorithm, which can effectively counteract camera shake in all directions during motion. Horizon Steady can horizontally correct the tilt of the horizon at any angle, and keep the picture stable even in extreme scenes with violent bumps or 360° rotations. At the same time, turn on the horizon correction (HorizonBalancing), which can adjust the horizon tilt within ±45°.

In terms of battery life, the official said that Action 3 has the largest battery capacity of 1770mAh among mainstream sports cameras. Under normal temperature conditions, it can record 1080p / 30fps video for up to 160 minutes, and 4k / 60fps video can be recorded continuously for 90 minutes without overheating.
