DJI Launch its Avata Drone: Shoots 4K / 60fps video at 155° ultra-wide

The DJI Avata is a compact drone with its own paddle shield, weighing about 410 grams and measuring 180 x 180 x 80 mm. Officially, the body is robust and durable, and can still fly normally after a minor collision.

For shooting, the DJI Avata is equipped with a 1/1.7-inch 48-megapixel f/2.8 sensor, supports shooting 4K / 60fps video at 155° ultra-wide angle, as well as super stabilization and horizon stabilization, up to 10 km map transmission, up to 18 minutes hovering time, and has 20GB onboard storage.

DJI has also introduced DJI Goggles 2, which supports head tracking and weighs only 290 grams, 30% lighter than DJI FPV Flight Glasses V2. The mask material is soft and fits well on the face, significantly improving light leakage.

DJI Goggles 2 adopts Micro-OLED display technology, equipped with two 1080p screens, more independent video processing chip, also equipped with Wi-Fi wireless screen casting function, supporting the use of DLNA protocol of mainstream audio and video software.

In addition, DJI Goggles 2 supports diopter adjustment from 200 degrees of farsightedness to 800 degrees of nearsightedness; for users with astigmatism or outside the range of native diopter correction, they can fit their own lenses that suit their personal vision and put them into the included vision correction eyeglass frames.
