According to Xinhua News Agency, today, in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, the Shenyang-Bai high-speed railway Lanshan Special Bridge construction site, Shenyang-Bai high-speed railway three bids successfully erected the first hole box beam, marking the official start of the Shenyang-Bai high-speed railway box beam erection project on the entire line.
The construction of Shenyang-Bai high-speed railway began in July 2021, the line from Shenyang North Station, the end to Changbaishan Station, the main line is 430.1 kilometers long, the design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, is an important part of the national medium and long-term railroad network in the northeast fast railroad channel, but also the eastern region of the northeast passenger transport main channel.
According to previous information, the Shenyang-Baixian high-speed railway is expected to open for operation in 2025. After its completion and opening, the running time between Shenyang and Changbaishan will be shortened from nearly 4 hours to 1.5 hours, and it will only take 5 hours from Beijing to Changbaishan.
Data show that in 2021, the national railroad completed fixed asset investment of 748.9 billion yuan, and put into operation 4208 kilometers of new lines, including 2168 kilometers of high-speed rail. By the end of 2021, the national railroad mileage exceeds 150,000 km, including more than 40,000 km of high-speed rail.
