At the Denza N7 Smart Communication Conference held this evening, BYD launched the Denza Pilot “High-Speed Intelligent Driving Package” based on the “Eye of God” high-end intelligent driving assistance system. The option price of Shi N7 is RMB 15,000, of which new customers can enjoy a price of RMB 12,000 for a limited time, and old customers who pick up the car before 24:00 on September 26 can enjoy a price of RMB 10,000.
The high-speed smart driving package uses NVIDIA DRIVE Orin system-level chip, which can provide 254 TOPS of high computing power, access 33 high-performance smart driving sensing components, and is equipped with 2 ultra-long-range high-precision lidars. Equipped with a front binocular 8-megapixel camera, this optional package has automatic parking, high-speed NOA (High-speed Navigation Assisted Driving), mobile phone remote parking, rear collision warning, active braking, traffic sign recognition, lane centering, and paddle shifters. It has many driving assistance functions such as lane changing, adaptive cruise, lane departure warning, and blind spot safety assistance.
Compared with the previously released “high-end intelligent driving package”, the differences of this “high-end intelligent driving package” are:
- On the sensor side, it does not include lidar.
- In terms of computing power, it is a high-performance platform based on the new generation of NVIDIA DRIVE Orin.
- Functionally, it can support high-speed NOA, but not urban NOA.
Regarding the OTA delivery rhythm of Denza N7 smart driving functions, the high-end smart driving all-encompassing package will start high-speed NOA internal testing in October this year, high-speed NOA push in December, and urban NOA push in Q1 2024. In terms of the high-speed smart driving package, the optional package is officially launched today. The optional high-speed smart driving package models will be delivered in December this year, and the high-speed NOA push will start in the Q1 quarter of 2024. Denza D9 OTA will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2023, including Yunnan-C three-level adjustable comfort control, a new main driver nap mode function, and UWB welcome light linkage function.
