Dell Updates UltraSharp Series with 32-inch 6K IPS Display

Dell is updating its lineup of commercial UltraSharp displays to include the Dell UltraSharp 32 6K display, which Dell says is the world’s first 6K display with IPS Black technology. Also being announced are the company’s first curved WQHD display with IPS Black technology, the Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub display, and the massive Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub display.

Dell UltraSharp 32 6K display
No specific pricing has been announced for the Dell UltraShap 32 6K monitor, which will be available in the second quarter of this year. As the name implies, the monitor features 6K (6144 x 3456) resolution and Dell’s IPS Black technology. 6K resolution has 150% more pixels than a 4K monitor, and IPS Black technology improves the contrast ratio of the IPS panel for deeper blacks while maintaining clarity, color, and viewing angles. Dell claims that black levels are up to 41 percent deeper and color accuracy is 1.2 times better than IPS displays.

The display has a 4K webcam on top with auto-framing, light adjustment, and a safety shutter feature to protect the camera lens when not in use. There’s even a pop-up front port so it’s easier to connect accessories, and support for Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for up to 140W of power transfer. There’s also automatic KVM support, a mini DisplayPort 2.1 port, and two built-in 14W speakers.

Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Display
Another IPS Black monitor in Dell’s 2023 lineup is the Dell UltraShap 34 Curved USB-C Hub monitor. This monitor is for the average person who may not need 6K resolution. It features USB-C connectivity, side-by-side and picture-in-picture capabilities, and dual 5W speakers on board. It is the first curved WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution monitor in the Dell lineup to feature IPS Black technology. This technology delivers contrast ratios up to 2000:1 and deeper black-and-gray performance. The monitor will be available starting January 31, 2023, for $1260 (approximately RMB 8707).

Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub Display
The third and final monitor announced by Dell is the largest of all monitors, the Dell UltraShap 43 4K USB-C Hub monitor. The monitor can be connected to a PC, which can then be divided into four screen partitions. You can even connect four different PCs to the monitor and switch between them using a KVM switch. The monitor features 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution with quick access pop-up ports on the front for accessories. The main ports include two DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB-C port that delivers up to 90W of power. Prices start at $1,330 (about RMB 9,190) and availability is set for January 31, 2023.

Dell Premier Rechargeable Mouse and Collaborative Keyboard
Dell also introduced the new Premier Rechargeable Mouse and Collaboration Keyboard, a sleek new keyboard with dedicated touch controls to manage Zoom calls, quickly mute and unmute calls, or turn the camera on or off. These controls are located just above the arrow keys. Like the Logitech MX Keys keyboard, it can even connect up to three devices via programmable keys and backlighting with hand proximity sensors. Dell says the keyboard has a battery life of up to 20 days on a single charge and can be charged in less than a minute using the USB-C port.

As for the Premier Rechargeable Mouse, it’s a new mouse from Dell that has a comfortable palm rest. Featuring a glass tracking sensor, it can be used on any surface. Other features include an 8K DPI sensor and USB-C fast charging.

Both products will be available on January 31, 2023, with the rechargeable mouse priced at $110 (about RMB 760) and the collaborative keyboard at $130 (about RMB 898).
