Delivery times for iPhone 14 Plus start to grow, Demand for Pro models remains high

A product supply tracker says demand for the iPhone 14 Pro model remains high relative to the iPhone 13 Pro, while demand for the iPhone 14 is apparently weaker than the iPhone 13, but there seems to be good news for the iPhone 14 Plus.

Since its launch, the iPhone 14 Pro has proven itself to be a very popular device with consumers. In its fourth week, Sunday’s Apple Product Availability Tracker by analysts at JP Morgan concluded that the situation was similar to the previous week, with strong demand for Pro models and weak demand for non-Pro models.

The silver lining for the iPhone 14, however, is the iPhone 14 Plus. As the October 7 release date approaches, delivery times for this model are starting to extend beyond the debut date in most regions other than the US. J.P. Morgan sees this as a sign that the model is gaining traction with consumers as the release date draws closer.

Overall, the average delivery times for iPhone 14, Pro and Pro Max were 2 days, 33 days and 40 days respectively across all regions. The iPhone 14 had a shorter delivery time compared to the iPhone 13, the iPhone 14 Pro had an “in-line or slightly lower” delivery time and the Pro Max had an “even longer” delivery time.

In the US, iPhone 14 lead times are stable at four days, while the Plus appears to be tracking its first availability date. Delivery times for the Pro and Pro Max have increased slightly to 32 and 39 days respectively.

In Apple Store shops, iPhone 14 and Pro are available for same-day pickup, while Pro Max requires a wait.

Delivery times for the Pro models in the China region have increased to 36 and 43 days respectively. Meanwhile, delivery times for iPhone 14 are just two days, down from four days a week ago, while at press time, delivery times for Plus are beyond 7 October.

In Germany and the UK, the iPhone 14 is a next-day delivery and the iPhone 14 Plus shows delivery scheduled for launch day, which is significantly less popular than the iPhone 13 and 13 mini in 2021. In terms of the Pro version, delivery times are up slightly in Germany but remain unchanged in the UK.

Tracking data in the wearables supply chain showed strong demand for the Apple Watch Ultra continued for another week with delivery times of 26 days, although down slightly from 30 days a week ago. down to 6 days.

The second generation AirPods Pro now has a delivery time of around 4 days worldwide but not in China. There, the delivery time has now been extended from 4 to 11 days.
