OpenAI once launched a model called DALL-E, which can generate corresponding pictures based on text descriptions input by users. Last month, OpenAI announced a more advanced version of DALL・E called DALL・E 3, which is now available on ChatGPT.
OpenAI released a beta version of DALL・E 3 through its official website on Monday, allowing some users to use DALL E-3 directly through ChatGPT. While the release notes don’t specify which users will have access to DALL・E 3, when OpenAI first announced the model in September, the company said it would make DALL・E 3 available to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise users in October.
To use DALL・E 3, users need to select DALL・E 3 under the GPT-4 option in ChatGPT. Once selected, users can enter a text description of any length, from a sentence to a paragraph, to describe their desired artwork, and the DALL・E 3 will generate the image in seconds.
When OpenAI announced DALL・E 3, it said that this model can surpass the capabilities of the previous DALL・E 2, generate more accurate and detailed pictures, and better capture the nuances in text descriptions.
It is noticed that Microsoft has provided DALL・E 3 in Bing Chat for free.
