CD Projekt’s “Cyberpunk 2077” after suffering quality problems scandal, the number of players has been low, now by the adaptation of the animation brought fire, once again back to the popular, sales have exceeded 20 million copies.
Recently, Cyberpunk 2077 has reached another milestone, with its Steam rating reaching 90% for the first time, representing the game’s recent rise to “exceptionally positive” after nearly two years of tinkering.
The CD Projekt-developed game has also sold more than 85 million units to date, surpassing the 84 million units sold by the Monster Hunter franchise (the latest recorded figure).
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most controversial games in gaming to date, with so many problems at launch that it was removed from the PlayStation Store shortly after its release. CD Projekt issued refunds to players and received intense criticism.
CD Projekt is currently planning a number of new games, including a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, codenamed Orion, which is expected to offer online multiplayer capabilities, as well as a remake of the initial Witcher game using Unreal Engine 5, and a new Witcher trilogy is also in the works.
