SteamCharts data show that since the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 version of the September 21st update, the number of people online began to show a sustained upward trend. Finally, the game’s recent Steam online numbers exceeded 150,000, reaching a peak of 151,290 on the evening of September 23rd. This is also the highest number of people online on Steam since its December 2020 release.
At one point in January 2021, the game had 225,670 people online, according to the data.
