CD Projekt Game Studios located in Vancouver and Boston plans to start a preliminary investigation on the sequel “Project Orion” of “Cyberpunk 2077” in 2024, and formulate related planning roadmaps.
CD Projekt studio announced the “Project Orion” project last year, and there is currently very little news about this sequel.
The “Project Orion” project has not yet entered the development stage, and the official plan is to enter the R&D stage in 2024, which means that it will take several years before it is officially launched.
CD Projekt has previously stated that after experiencing the failure of “Cyberpunk 2077”, they have realized that one of the biggest risks in game development is whether the game can be guaranteed to be smooth and stable on all platforms to run.
