CodeWeavers recently issued a press release announcing the launch of CrossOver 23.5 version, which adds many key features that allow Mac users to deeply experience various AAA games, calling it a “real changemaker” .
CrossOver 23.5 highlights the introduction of a new D3DMetal option that provides an alternative way to run DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 games using components from Apple’s Game Porting Toolkit.
Officials say that after CrossOver 23.5 enables the D3DMetal option, it can improve the quality, compatibility and performance of games running on Apple Silicon Mac devices.
