The “ancient wolf” series 4V4 battle game “Crash Team Rumble” Beat version is officially online today. The game is also available for pre-order until 24 April.
As previously announced, the game will be released on June 20 for PS4|5, Xbox One, XSX|S and PC.
Originally released exclusively on PlayStation, the first game in the series was developed by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin, the two founders of Naughty Dog Studios. Since the first transfer of the series’ intellectual property, it has spanned multiple platforms, a number of developers and a variety of game genres.
The series is mostly set on an island called Wumpa, located in southern Australia. Most of the titles in the main series are in the platforming genre, with some of them incorporating other game genres. The protagonist of the series is an anthropomorphic beaver called Crash, whose peaceful life on Wumpa is constantly interrupted by the villainous Dr Neo Cortex, who has created Crash but wants to kill him. For most of the series, Crash must defeat Dr Cortex and destroy his plans for world conquest.
