MediaTek Dimensity 9300 flagship mobile processor will be officially released at the end of the year and more information about this processor will flow out.

The blogger @Digital chat station broke the news the day before yesterday that the Dimensity 9300’s current technical specifications are 4X4 (1X4+3X4m) + 4A720, and the GPU is Immortalis G720. One of the CPUs is a regular X4, and the other three are X4m, which are expected to have a lower frequency. The CPU frequency is tentatively set at a minimum of 3.0GHz for the X4 ultra-large core, and a minimum of 2.0GHz for the A720 large core, which will eventually be adjusted according to the landing frequency of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Today, the blogger gave more detailed information, saying that the CPU performance of the current Dimensity 9300 processor is 13% higher than the previous generation’s single-core, 33% multi-core and the number of GPU cores is more than the previous generation.

At present, the Dimensity 9300 will adopt a full large-core design, and directly design the chip architecture with a super-large core + large-core solution. And according to the information released by Arm, the performance of the Armv9-based Cortex-X4 super-large core is 15% higher than that of the X3, and the new energy-efficient micro-architecture based on the same process can reduce power consumption by 40%. The Cortex-A720 will become the mainstream large core next year, which can improve the continuous performance of mobile chips and is the main core of the new CPU cluster.

It should be pointed out that the Dimensity 9300 performance information disclosed by the blogger is only the current state, and there is still a long time before the official release of the processor. During this period, MediaTek may make more adjustments and optimizations to the processor.
