Corsair Announces EX100U Mobile SSD: Up to 1600MB/s Transfer Speed

According to TechPowerUP, Corsair today announced the CORSAIR EX100U, a slim mobile SSD available in capacities from 500GB to 4TB.

The EX100U features a USB Type-C Gen2 x2 interface with up to 20 Gbps of bandwidth and transfer speeds of up to 1,600 MB/s sequential read and 1,500 MB/s sequential write speeds.

Officially, it is suitable for intensive video and photo editing, or playing the latest large installation file games, and supports PC, Mac or gaming consoles. A USB Type-C to Type-C and Type-C to Type-A cable is included in the package to ensure device compatibility.

No official pricing for the mobile SSD has been announced at this time.
