Citroen a subsidiary of Stellantis, recently previewed a new version of the compact SUV model C3 Aircross on its official website. The model is scheduled to be pre-ordered this summer.
The new Citroen brand logo adopted in the design of this model continues the new design language on the new version of C3, showing a stylish and tough design style.
The new version of C3 Aircross adopts a length of 4.39 meters and a longer wheelbase. It has wider rear legroom and can accommodate up to 7 seats. It strikes a balance between practicality and agility and is suitable for family use.
The model adopts a high, horizontal hood, widened fenders and wheel arches to reflect its SUV identity, while accentuating its more angular overall appearance through features such as a two-tone roof.
The new version of the C3 Aircross uses the same smart car platform as the previous new C3 compact car, which can provide a wealth of powertrain options. In addition to the traditional fuel version, it will also provide a hybrid version, and an affordable pure electric version will be produced in Europe.
Citroen says a new version of its C3 Aircross will be available to order this summer as it aims to carve out a slice of the competitive compact SUV market at a competitive price.
At present, Citroen has not announced most detailed data of the new version of C3 Aircross, including power parameters.
