China is the world’s first major producer of LCD TVs, and the shipments of Chinese LCD TVs have seen significant growth in the past two months.
The latest data from the General Administration of Customs of China shows that China’s LCD TV exports continue to grow, with 8.43 million units exported in July, up 30.4% year-on-year, and 51.58 million units exported from January to July, up 16.4% year-on-year.
According to CCTV Finance, Liu Tangzhi, vice chairman of the board of directors of a TV manufacturer, said that China accounts for at least 60% of global TV manufacturing, R&D and shipments.
There is also a TV production company in Guangdong, the general manager said that since the third quarter, the shipment volume has increased greatly, all shipping ports 24 hours full load non-stop delivery status.
Industry insiders believe that in recent years, China-made television products, in terms of quality and technology have reached the international leading level, recognized by overseas consumers.
