At the 2022 two-wheeled electric vehicle power exchange industry innovation alliance conference held today, Liu Chunhua, general manager of the charging business department of China Tower Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Tower, said that China Tower has become the largest light electric vehicle power exchange business operator in the country, providing more than 2 million times a day for take-out and The company provides more than 2 million battery exchange services for delivery and courier boys every day.

China Tower has been in the power exchange business since 2019. As of June this year, a total of 50,000 power exchange points have been deployed, and the cumulative number of power exchange services has exceeded 600 million times.

According to China Tower’s release, 2.1 million tower base stations throughout urban and rural areas form a distributed power network, as well as a distributed energy storage system consisting of nearly 3.5 million sets of batteries. This distributed power network and battery storage system can provide uninterrupted power services for base stations, but also serve the public and thousands of households. China Tower has accelerated the layout of energy socialization applications such as smart power exchange, power backup, charging, and laddering.

Among them, the smart power exchange business has been opened in 280 cities, deploying 44,000 power exchange cabinets and serving more than 700,000 users, becoming the largest light electric vehicle power exchange operator in the country in terms of network scale and user scale. In the event of a utility power outage at the base station, the power exchange facility also provides reverse power supply to the base station, replacing the traditional mode of generating power with diesel engines.

The centralized deployment of low-speed EV charging piles in communities covers more than 310 cities, with over 1.07 million ports deployed and over 5.2 million users served, meeting the needs of communities and people for centralized, safe and convenient charging services. Relying on its mature base station power guarantee capability, the company also provides integrated and comprehensive new energy service solutions of “power backup + monitoring + maintenance + power generation” for financial, medical and transportation industries.
