Today, China’s satellite launch center in Xichang, using the Long March III B carrier rocket, successfully launched satellite 19 into space, the satellite smoothly into the scheduled orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.
China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) said that ChinaSat 19 is a high-throughput communication satellite with a fast transmission rate and wide coverage. It adopts China’s self-developed Dongfanghong IV enhanced satellite platform and mainly provides communication and Internet access services.
ChinaSat 19 satellite covers C, Ku and Ka multi-band communication payloads, mainly covering the eastern part of China, Southeast Asia, and most of the Pacific region, including the North American route, which can better serve ocean transportation communications, route Internet and other services.
This launch is the 447th launch of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
