SAIC-GM recently announced that the new pure electric SUV Explorer EV will be officially unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show. This new car has previously been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The declaration information shows that the length, width and height of this new car are 484519131644mm, and the wheelbase is 2954mm. The overall appearance is consistent with the overseas version. The vehicle’s sporty attributes are more prominent. The front face adopts streamlined headlights, the rear uses the currently popular through-type taillights, and the wheels are blackened.
In terms of power, this new car is built on the Autoneng pure electric platform. The peak power of the front motor is 143kW and the peak power of the rear motor is 68kW.
At present, there is little official information about the Explorer EV, and it is expected to start warm-up in the near future.
