Chery Group announced its car sales in August. It sold 171,262 cars in a single month, a year-on-year increase of 20.8%, and sold more than 150,000 cars for two consecutive months; from January to August, it sold a total of 1,063,157 cars, a year-on-year increase of 20.8%. An increase of 42%.

The Chery brand sold 123,610 vehicles in August, a year-on-year increase of 15.5%; from January to August, it sold 773,333 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 36.4%.
The Xingtu brand sold 12,081 vehicles in August, a year-on-year increase of 118%; from January to August, it sold 65,783 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 130.2%.
The Jietu brand sold 28,007 vehicles in August, a year-on-year increase of 47.6%; from January to August, it sold 161,900 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 67.4%.
Tiggo 8, Tiggo 7, Jietu X70 and Arrizo 8, four models with sales exceeding 10,000 units, contributed 21,369, 19,116, 14,552 and 10,325 units respectively in August.
