Chery Group’s latest data show that Chery Group 2022 cumulative sales of vehicles reached 1232727 units, an increase of 28.2% year-on-year, including December sales of 105483 units in a single month.
In 2022, Chery Group exported 451,337 vehicles, up 67.7% year-on-year, and sold 232,814 new energy vehicles, up 112.9% year-on-year.
Chery Group stated that in 2022, it will create four “historical firsts” breakthroughs, including annual operating income exceeding 200 billion yuan for the first time, annual sales exceeding 1 million vehicles for the first time, and annual exports reaching 450,000 vehicles for the first time. Annual sales exceeded 200,000 vehicles for the first time. So far, Chery Group has accumulated more than 11.2 million global car users, including 2.4 million overseas users.
Various brands under Chery Group have successively launched a series of new models such as Omenda 5, Jietu Dasheng, Arrizo 8, and New Energy Unbounded Pro.
Among them, the annual sales volume of the Chery brand was 908,553 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 38.3%; the annual sales volume of the Xingtu brand was 51,142 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 37.6%; the annual sales volume of the Jietu brand was 180,067 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 16.9%.
In the new energy market, Chery Group will launch Tiggo 8 PLUS Kunpeng e+, Xingtufeng ET-i, Chery Unbounded Pro, Tiggo 7 PLUS hybrid version, Jietu Dasheng “i-DM” plug-in hybrid version and other models in 2022.
By the end of 2022, Chery has applied for a total of 25,795 patents and obtained 17,177 authorized patents, of which invention-authorized patents accounted for 37%.
