Recently, we learned from domestic media that Chery Fulwin A8 Pro (tentative name) is expected to be officially launched on April 18. The car was previously released at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show. Compared with Fulwin A8 is mainly replaced with a closed front face and provides a 55km (WLTC) battery life version. The price is expected to be further reduced. For reference, there are currently 4 Fulwin A8 models on sale, with the price range ranging from 119,900 to 149,900 RMB. The pure electric range of all models is 106km (WLTC).

As a review, the biggest change of the Fulwin A8 Pro is the adoption of a closed grille design in its appearance, which also makes it more prominent as a new energy model. The sides and rear of the car remain exactly the same as the Fulwin A8. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4780/1843/1469mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2790mm.
In terms of interior, the new car creates a simple and technological visual effect as a whole, is equipped with dual 12.3-inch instrument panels, and supports wireless mobile phone mapping function (wireless CarPlay + Huawei Hicar). In addition, in terms of configuration, the new car will also be equipped with an openable panoramic sunroof and the main driver’s seat ventilation and heating functions.
In terms of power, refer to the Fulwin A8. It is expected that the new car will continue to be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The engine has a maximum power of 115kW and a maximum torque of 220 N·m; the motor has a maximum power of 150kW and a maximum torque of 310 N·m; the transmission The system is matched with DHT150 hybrid transmission. In terms of battery life, the new car’s pure electric battery life will be available in two versions: 55km and 106km (WLTC).
