Chery’s new energy Ant Q electric car officially debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show. The version price will be around RMB 80,000, while the price range of the current Chery EV Ant is RMB 64,999 to 94,000.
The appearance of Little Ant Q maintains the small and cute style of the Little Ant series. A brand-new logo that can be illuminated is adopted in the middle of the front face. The fog lamp area of the car also has a new design, which looks more complicated. The side and rear have not changed much, but a blackened rim with dense spokes has been replaced to increase the sense of movement. The body size is temporarily unknown. The length, width and height of the current Ant are 3200/1670/1550 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2150 mm. The Ant Q should be similar.
Although the interior of the Ant Q is still symmetrical, it uses a brand-new LCD instrument panel and a large floating central control screen, and there are almost no physical buttons in the car. The through-type design of the front row also makes the interior space more flexible. In addition, some Ant Q models will also have configurations such as driver seat heating, seat memory, and steering wheel heating.
The power configuration of the Ant Q has not yet been announced. The current Ant has 2 sets of power options. Among them, the 251km and 301km models have a maximum power of 30 kW and a peak torque of 95 Nm; the 401 km model has a maximum power of 55 kW and a peak torque of 150 Nm. In terms of batteries, Little Ant has lithium iron phosphate batteries and ternary lithium battery packs with different capacities. The cruising range is 251 kilometres, 301 kilometres and 401 kilometres according to the version.
