CHERRY has recently launched the XTRFY K5V2 Torrent mechanical keyboard, which uses MX2A red switches. The price is 1,099 CNY and will go on sale on October 23.
According to reports, this keyboard is pre-equipped with the new MX2A axis body, which adopts high-quality automated precision factory finishing, golden cross contact technology, new barrel-shaped noise suppression spring structure, etc., and supports 0.5 millisecond high-speed scanning technology. The product features a 67-key design, but still retains most keyboard functions and leaves more room for the mouse.
The K5V2 keyboard is equipped with five-sided dye-sublimation PBT keycaps, adopts a double-layer noise reduction structure (noise reduction foam, noise reduction bottom pad) and is equipped with a metal plate and PCB satellite axis. In addition, the product is equipped with RGB lighting effects, and the official claims that “connecting the keyboard to the USB 3.0 port can enhance the RGB effect.”
Cherry officially claims that the K5V2 keyboard is specially designed for customization. It adopts a modular design and has a high degree of freedom in customization. The shaft keycaps, wires, frames, etc. can be replaced at a later stage (Note: The official does not open customization channels for the time being).
The K5V2 keyboard packaging adopts a sky-and-ground cover design and includes a mouse pad with the same theme color, a 2-meter connecting cable, 6 replacement second-generation switches of the same style, and a switch puller.
