CDPR game total sales exceed 85 million: “Cyberpunk 2077” contributed

The games developed by CD Projekt have sold more than 85 million copies to date, making the Polish game developer a force to be reckoned with.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been a big part of CD Projekt RED, which has sold 20 million copies to date, as many as the first two Witcher games. The studio has now confirmed that all four of its games combined have sold 85 million units, which puts it ahead of the 84 million units sold by the Monster Hunter franchise (the latest recorded figures).

Adam Kicinski, president of CD Projekt, said at a recent strategy meeting: “We have launched four deep and memorable games that continue to attract more and more gamers. We are proud “Cyberpunk 2077 has sold more than 20 million copies. To date, the combined sales of our four flagship games have exceeded 85 million copies.”

The sales of each game are as follows:

The Witcher 3 — 45 million

“Cyberpunk 2077” — 20 million

The Witcher 1 and 2 – 20 million

CD Projekt is currently planning to launch a batch of new games, including the sequel to “Cyberpunk 2077” code-named Orion, which is expected to provide online multiplayer features, and the original “Witcher” using Unreal Engine 5 A remake of the game, and a new Witcher trilogy are also in the works.
