Zeng Yuqun, chairman of CATL, has previously revealed that in addition to Kirin batteries, they are also tackling more new types of batteries, such as all-solid-state batteries, semi-solid-state batteries, and even condensed batteries that no one has heard of.
Zeng Yuqun said that the innovation of the power battery chemical system, the innovation of the structure, the innovation of the manufacturing, and the innovation of the business model can be integrated to promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry.
On June 23, CATL released the CTP3.0 Kirin battery. The system integration reached a new high in the world, the volume utilization rate exceeded 72%, and the energy density could reach 255Wh/kg, enabling the vehicle to run for 1,000 kilometers. CATL revealed that Kirin batteries will be mass-produced in 2023.
