Tesla officials did not release information about the Cybertruck audio system. However, according to the recently disclosed parts catalog, the pure electric pickup truck is equipped with 15 speaker arrays, including 2 dedicated subwoofers.
Note: The Tesla Model S Plaid has a total of 22 speakers. The Cybertruck has streamlined the number, but upgraded the subwoofer.
YouTube channel host Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) previously shared the Cybertruck test drive experience, but the sound experience was not mentioned in the video. In subsequent interactions with netizens, MKBHD stated that “the speakers are indeed very loud.”
Tesla specially hired engineers from Bang & Olufsen to design the sound system for its electric cars, and has already used “unbranded” Bang & Olufsen speakers. It is expected that the Cybertruck will also use this solution.
