Canon RF200-500mm f / 4L IS USM lens to be released in Q4 this year

According to CanonRumors, Canon will be released in the fourth quarter of this year RF200-500mm f / 4L IS USM to replace the previously popular EF 200-400mm f / 4L IS USM 1.4x.

According to reports, this lens will not be a built-in range extender, the lens as a whole will be more lightweight, and the price will be in the 15,999 U.S. dollars (currently about RMB 115,000) or so.

It is worth mentioning that the Canon EF 200-400mm f / 4L IS USM 1.4x, which was released in 2013, debuted at $11,799. If inflation is taken into account, the price of these two lenses is almost the same, but I’m afraid that users will find it difficult to buy.
