CanonRumors quoted sources as saying that Canon will announce a camera called EOS R50 in the first quarter of 2023. This may be the “EOS R100” that has been frequently reported.
Previous rumors about the “EOS R100” suggest that the camera will have a 24.2mp APS-C sensor, a DIGIC X processor, support for 12fps continuous shooting and 4K30p recording, Dual Pixel AF II focus, a 1.04-megapixel flip-up screen, and no EVF.
From the parameters up, EOS R100 will be benchmarked against Sony ZV-E10 and Nikon Z30, which should be in the price range of about 4,000 RMB, compared with the rumored R1 is simply heaven and earth.
