Canon has now released a new version of the firmware update for the EOS R5, and will release another new feature firmware update sometime this year.
According to CanonRumors, the Canon EOS R5 Mark II may be released in the first half of 2024 along with the rumored EOS R1.
In addition, Canon may push a major firmware upgrade for EOS R5 in April this year, and some functions of EOS R6 Mark II may be uploaded to EOS R5, such as: breathing correction, pre-shooting, and cancellation of 30-minute video recording time Focus mode for restrictions, more vehicles & more animals.
