Users of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max had earlier reported an uninterrupted vibration issue with the main camera when using third-party apps like Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok. Apple later issued a statement saying it would roll out a software update to fix the issue, but according to developer Halide, it’s possible the underlying difficulties are hardware-related.
Halide believes that the problem is caused by a broken image shift stabilization module.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman mentioned that Apple is working on releasing a fix for the glitch, and Halide, a developer of professional camera apps for iPhone and iPad, replied that the problem was triggered by a corrupted image shift stabilization module.
