It is also reported that BYD Chairman Wang Chuanfu led the technical engineering team of Fudi Power to visit FAW-Hongqi and FAW-Volkswagen Audi R&D centers for research. The two sides jointly witnessed the results of the adaptation of the blade battery and the DM-i power system.
It is worth mentioning that at present, BYD’s DM-i hybrid system external supply models have been listed, and the independent brands including Skyworth and Dongfeng Xiaokang have used the system, and the joint venture brand also has FAW Toyota bZ3. The new car will be launched in the near future.
