BYD and local distributor ASTARA Group launched the all-electric coupe “Seal” in Santiago, Chile on October 6, it was announced today.
According to the introduction, BYD Seal is the world’s first production vehicle equipped with CTB battery-body integration technology. The model is based on the BYD e Platform 3.0, equipped with the iTAC intelligent torque control system and a blade battery with a capacity of 82.56 kWh.
In addition, the front and rear dual motors of the BYD Seal can output 523 horsepower, accelerate to zero hundred in 3.8 seconds, and the WLTP range can reach 520 km.
As for pricing, the model is available in four colours in Chile, all of which cost 57.99 million pesos (Currently about RMB 457,900).
