The Equipment Industry Division 1 of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the latest batch of models for the “Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products” yesterday. BYD’s Denza N7 pure electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle has passed the declaration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

It is learned from the information declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the Denza N7 has a length, width, and height of 4860/1935/1602 mm, a wheelbase of 2940 mm, a maximum speed of 180 km/h, and optional lidar.
The declaration picture shows that the Denza N7 adopts a new exterior design, with a closed front face, hidden door handles through-type taillights and large-size wheels.
In terms of power, the Denza N7 single-motor version has a rated power of 70kW and a peak power of 230kW; the rated power of the dual-motor version of the drive motor is 75kW in the front and 70kW in the rear, and the peak power is 160kW in the front and 230kW in the rear.
Specifically, the declared Denza N7 single-motor version uses 235/50R19 and 255/45R19 tires, and the curb weight is 2280kg and 2320kg; the dual-motor version uses 245/45R20 tires, and the curb weight is 2420kg and 2440kg.
As a hunting SUV, Denza N7 is positioned as a medium-sized SUV with five seats. In February this year, Zhao Changjiang, general manager of the sales department of Denza, said in an interaction with netizens that the Denza N7 will be released in the first half of this year.

In terms of naming, Denza will continue the combination of English letters + numbers, and adopt the uppercase English letter “N” + numbers as the naming method of SUV series models. Denza is expected to launch a large five-seater SUV N7 and a new mid-to-large SUV this year.
