Weibo blogger @Xiaodi Express, who has long been following BYD news, released a set of “official road test spy photos” of BYD’s new model Song L today.

The picture shows that the new car appears in the form of covering camouflage, but the shooting angle, composition and scene are closer to the official publicity picture. The new car is positioned as a “B-class pure electric hunting SUV”. The front of the car adopts the design language used by the BYD family Dragon Face on pure electric models.
It was previously reported that the BYD Dynasty Song L concept car made its world premiere at the Shanghai Auto Show. According to the official introduction, Song L is a hunting and pioneering SUV that combines sports and strength.

In terms of configuration, the new car will be equipped with e-platform 3.0, CTB battery-body integration technology, smart electric four-wheel drive, cloud car smart body control system, and a “new generation” smart cockpit.
It should be noted that the concept car unveiled at that time was equipped with electronic rearview mirrors, but the test car unveiled this time has switched back to traditional rearview mirrors. As relevant domestic regulations begin to allow vehicles to use electronic rearview mirrors, this means that the mass-produced version of Song L is expected to launch two versions of traditional rearview mirrors and electronic rearview mirrors. According to previous official disclosures, the new car will be launched within this year.
