BYD Auto announced today that it held a brand launch conference in Istanbul, Turkey on September 29. A total of 5 new energy models will be unveiled for the first time: ATTO 3, Han, Tang , Seal, and Dolphin, among which the ATTO 3 model has officially started pre-sale locally and will be delivered in November.
According to reports, BYD will open a total of five stores with local dealer ALJ this year in the capital Ankara, the most populous city Istanbul and the third largest port city Izmir. The two parties reached a cooperation agreement in March this year, and ALJ became BYD’s passenger car and commercial vehicle dealer in Turkey.
The person in charge of ALJ’s relevant business said that with the rapid development of the local electric vehicle market, the goal is to achieve BYD’s dealer network covering 82% of the Turkish market next year and provide “the highest quality and most complete services.”

It was earlier today that BYD Auto achieved sales of 287,500 new energy vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 42.8%. Among them, the sales volume of pure electric vehicles reached 151,193 units, and the sales volume of plug-in hybrid models reached 135,710 units.
In addition, BYD Auto exported 28,039 passenger cars in September, a year-on-year growth of 262.4%.
